"Let in the 'breze"

Today on the subway, I saw a girl suddenly throw up near one of the train doors not far from where I was sitting. o_O She left the train at the next stop. But eventually, the smell of the vomit travelled over. It was kinda sickening, so I moved over to the end of the subway cart along with a bunch of people who were also standing/sitting nearby.

I looked up and saw an ad, and it said: "Let in the 'breze. Want a breath of fresh air right now?" YES. I wanted to get home fast, so decided not to leave and wait for the next train. So for the next 15 minutes, that poster just stared at me. Thanks for mocking me, Febreze.

As for the girl, she didn't seem too sick after she left the train, so I think she's okay.

Febreze is still awesome, but I just thought this story was sort of funny.

Snow Day!

It's a snowstorm outside, and I'm at home wasting some time. I was supposed to have a test for EEB216 today, but because of the weather, school got closed, and the test got rescheduled! In my years at UT so far, I think this is the 2nd time the univeristy got closed because of the weather. It doesn't seem like these things happen that easily, but I dunno... there's global warming, and I guess the weather getting a little screwy is normal. Last time was kinda funny, 'cuz I'd already decided to skip the day anyway to study for a test the following day. People who had gone to classes in the morning (when the campus wasn't closed yet) took numerous hours to get home! o_O Good thing I'd avoided that! Haha.

Hmm, I should be studying for my other test coming up, but yeahhh... hehe. Coming across this, I decided to blog something since I haven't done so in awhile. My whole family is home right now - no one left the house today. Haha, it feels kinda like a weekend... Or more like a holiday. =) Looking outside the windows, all I see is white. It actually looks quite pretty! I actually wanna go outside to play! I wanna build a snowman and take pictures! =D I wonder if that's gonna happen... lol. Probably not. I'm probably just gonna be out there to help shovel some snow later. Oh, what fun... Okay, it's time to get serious and study again! >.<"
